Refcon Specialist Group is led by Troy Langley
Troy Langley is the founder and Executive Director of Refcon Specialist Group. He is a veteran of the United States Army serving from 2003 to 2011 in the Armored Corps as an M1 Abrams Tank Crew Member. After he served 3 tours in Iraq he was Honorably Discharged from service where he began his career in the industrial energy sector. Here he learned the crafts of gunite and shotcrete placement, welding and fabrication, as well as coating application and inspections.

Through his desire to continue his professional and academic education he earned a Masters Degree in Project Management from the University of Arkansas Grantham while working full time at remote locations around the world. He also holds certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, The American Petroleum Institute, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Association for Materials Protection and Performance (formerly NACE).

After settling in Texas it was apparent that there was a need for a company to help solve the issues of the deteriorating infrastructure facing the Greater Houston area. With the guidance from our partner companies Refcon Specialist Group was founded to be that company.

Experience
While Refcon SG may be a new company it is built on years of experience. The company is built around knowledge gained from while working around the world. From North America to Asia and Europe to Australia there are many different methods utilized to perform the services that we offer. Refcon SG operates as a culmination of these methods.
We are constantly learning new product application processes, in order to provide the best services to our clients.

The basis of accountability is not just listing a problem but working to correct it no matter the circumstances. If an issue is identified, it will be addressed. Refcon SG stands by our team members, our products, and our methodologies.
